My Favourite Soap & Glory Products

Hey guys, sorry it's been so long, I've had so many stressful exams recently and revision kills :( I will try to keep up to date with my posts!

Anyways, today I wanted to share with you guys my favourite Soap and Glory products. last Christmas, my gran got me a mahoosive soap and glory set and I've been obsessed ever since!

Firstly, the infamous Soap and Glory Hand Food: this hand cream is non greasy but oober moisturising and it smells soo good, like the Clean on me shower cream. It comes in a really easy to use tube in 2 sizes, 50 ml (the mini size) and 125ml. I use this hand cream during the day but also before bed so my hands don't get dry especially as the weather is getting colder!

The Righteous Butter: This is my favourite after evening bath moisturiser because its really rich and luxurious and it also smells Divine! It sinks into the skin quickly and it has extracts of aloe so its cooling. It's quite a rich texture but isnt super greasy which i really like. This is one of soap and glory's best selling products and i can see why!

Sugar Crush Body Scrub: I have loved this scrub for such a long time because it literally smells like heaven. Its meant to have a zesty citrus fragrance due to the ingredients of smashed brown sugar, almond oil, macadamia grains and sweet lime. Its quite a harsh grainy scrub but it definitely makes your skin feel soo smooth and clean.

Clean on Me: This is a creamy moisturising shower cream and i think its really good value for money as this is 500ml for £5.50 and you could buy cheaper shower gels but they would have a lot less amount of product and not as nice ingredients. It smells like Hand Food and The righteous butter and the packaging is cute which is a bonus.

Mist you madly: This is quite a new edition to my s&g collection but i love this fragrance. It is quite floral and goes nicely with the other moisturiser as a finishing touch. I also love the plastic dinky packaging because you can bring it in your bag without worrying that a glass bottle will smash throught the day!

L'Oreal Caresse Lipstick - 401 Rebel Red

Hi guys, now autumn has definitely kicked in I wanted to wear a darker shade on the lips and what can beat an old fashioned red?! Today I'm going to do a mini review of the L'Oreal Caresse Lipstick in Rebel Red which is yet another variation of the Revlon Lipbutters!

Firstly, This red is more of a pinky red than an orange red and I think it's a really pretty transition lip shade for autumn/fall! These lipsticks in general are quite sheer but you can easily build them up to your desired opaque-ness with an extra layer if need be!

On the lips they feel like a tinted lip balm and not heavy as a lipstick which I tend to go for and if you wear it sheer, it looks very au-naturale. The finish is glossy but not frosty. I like that they have no shimmer because they are a lot smoother on the lips and you can't feel big chunks of glitter during the day.

Rebel Red-Left, Cherry Me- Right
On the down side, the longevity is not too great and you will have to reapply throughout the day and as these are advertised as lip stains these do not live up to the expectations of long lasting colour. However, the texture of Rebel Red is actually really similar to the Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me which is a cheaper option at £2.99 but Cherry Me is a bit more of a berry shade.

Overall, these lipsticks are really nice if you want a sheer moisturising colour that is not too heavy on the lips. If you can get over reapplying during the day this would be a nice option for you.

Have you got any nice lipsticks for Autumn/Fall?

Kiko Holographic Nail Lacquer

Hi Guys, i was looking through my nail polish collection today to repaint my nails and i came across this gorgeous shade by Kiko Cosmetics and i had to show it to the world!

This is one of my new Autumn/Winter favourite polishes because it just glistens in all different lights! In the image above, i have applied 2 coats of the polish and not even applied a top coat and it looks beautiful. Not to mention the drying time is incredible, it is literally touch dry in 20 seconds. Looking at it, the different flecks of glitter are really, really tiny so this wont be one of those polishes that takes a million years to take off! Also, in some lights, it looks kind of like a matte finish but if you hate matte finishes a glossy top coat will definitely prevent that!

I have nothing but good things to say about this polish! Have you tries any kiko nail polishes?

Barry M Dazzle Dusts - Mushroom & Bronze

I've had these Dazzle dusts for about a year now and i thought i would do a little review for you guys!

The two shades i have are Mushroom (51) and Bronze (44) and they retail for £4.59 in Boots and Superdrug and they are definitely worth it.

The first thing you will notice about these products is the packaging. They are in small glass tubs with a black lid, they are really cute but have its downfalls. One problem I notice while using these is that the lids don't fully close allowing the tiny pigments to fly everywhere, when I bought my first Dazzle Dust I thought it was just a dud however this was not the case as the second one had the same issue.
I would say that these eye shadows are a dressing table item and should never be brought travelling unless you want pigment all over your other items!

However, The pigments have really nice colour payoff as shown in my arm swatches and I like to apply them to my eyes with a small dense eyeshadow brush as a fluffy brush would just flick the product everywhere! The mushroom shade is the purple shade and the bronze is the gold shade. They both have have really pretty flecks of glitter which sparkle in the light and would look great as night time makeup looks or just a wash of colour on the lid in the daytime. Overall, i think these eyeshadows are worth the price and i can definitely get over not travelling with them!

Have you tried any Dazzle Dusts?

Benefit Go TROPI-Coral

Today i'm going to review for you guys a really cute Benefit palette called Tropi-Coral as i'm trying to soak up all the warm summer before the actual british weather comes in (rain)!

So this little box of goodies contains 4 different mini sized products; Cha Cha tint, High Beam, Coralista blush (with a brush) and Coralista lip gloss.

Cha Cha tint:
The Cha Cha tint comes in a small tube and has an applicator like a nail polish and is an extremely pigmented orangy-coral colour. This can been worn on the cheek as cheek stain or on the lips as a lip stain. Beware though, you have to work quickly as this product sets very fast and unless you want severe stripes across your cheeks you have to blend, blend, blend! Overall, i really like this product however the drying time can be a bit annoying!

High Beam:
High Beam is a shimmery champagne highlighter that can be worn on the top of the cheek bones, under the brow bone, on your cupids bow or where ever you feel like highlighting! This too comes in a nail polish kind of packaging and i like the applicator as you can place the product more precisely. High Beam also has quite a quick drying time but its not as noticeable as a bright cheek stain like Cha Cha tint.

Coralista Blush:
The coralista blush is nice if you like a natural coral flush with a few hints of shimmer but the swatch took quite a lot of work to get it to show up on my arm so its quite sheer. This blush has the extra bonus of smelling sooo nice but i'm not sure exactly what of, maybe some kind of sweets. It also comes with a little brush to apply it with and i actually really like it and it means if you are on the go, theres no need to take extra brushes!

Coralista Gloss:
The coralista gloss is such a pretty, sheer orangy-coral and it particularly looks nice with bluey green eyes as it makes them pop! The gloss looks lovely by itself, but also on top of the Cha Cha tint for a more opaque colour. Its not as sticky as i thought it would be making it more comfortable to wear on the lips and overall i love it!

With the kit, Benefit have included some really cute and useful tips to apply the products and i think this is really handy if you're new to using some of the products!

I think this palette was £25.50 but i think it was worth every penny! Have you tried any Benefit products?

Review: Sleek Blush By 3, Lace

Hey Guys,
A little while back i was in my local Superdrug and was scouring the Sleek section for some cute blushes and i found this trio called Lace and at £9.99 i thought it was a pretty good deal considering only one blush is £4.49!

Just like all the single blushes by Sleek, these were extremely pigmented and you only need to tap the brush once to have enough product for a natural flush on your cheeks. The colours are also flattering, there's a matte orangey coral, a shimmery rose gold pink and a matte pinky red so you're good to go for almost any makeup look.

The packaging is also very sleek and quite a dinky size which is great if you're travelling. I would say the palette is sturdy too so if you by accident drop it, the pigments won't crack. Overall, I like this product and will definitely get a lot of use out of it. Have you any tried Sleek products?

Summer Scent- Daisy Sunshine Edition, Marc Jacobs

Today I wanted to share with you guys my favourite summer perfume- Daisy Sunshine Eau de Toilette by Marc Jacobs

I got this when I was shopping at the airport duty free when i was heading off to Italy and I couldn't resist it! The original Daisy is quite a floral scent which I was quite a fan of however this version had the extra oomph I was looking for.

Here are the different notes of this fragrance as described on the Marc Jacobs website:
Top Notes: Red Currant, Guava, Juicy Mandarin
Mid Notes: Lily of the Valley, Violet, Lychee
Base Notes: Apricot Skin, Blonde Woods, Musks

I would say this is a daytime scent as it is quite fresh and uplifting however i'm sure it would be good for the evenings/nights too. Can we just take a moment to adore this lovely packaging?! Marc Jacobs is known to have really cute, creative packaging and i'm sure people would be sold on it just to have a pretty bottle on their dressing table! Even my cat seems to like it, he fell asleep on it...!

Have you tried any Marc Jacobs perfumes?

Review: Essie's Mint Candy Apple

I had been wanting to get my hands on Essie's Mint Candy Apple for what seems like AN AGE and Mint green is definately one of my favourite colours on the nails for Spring and Summer so today i finally caved :)

Theres something about Boots and the way the Essie stand glares at you-its soo bright and i just stand there in awe and wonder at all the beautiful shades that stand before me...

Anyway, back to the Review! First of all, the packaging is very sleek with 'Essie' imprinted on the bottle which gives it quite a high end feel and the bottle also containes 15ml of product which matches OPI nail polishs but beats Nails Inc by 5mls.

The medium sized brush in the polish make the product a breeze to apply and as my nails are quite small i only needed a stroke or two to cover my nail completely. However, i would recommend to apply 2 coats as the first coat isnt quite opaque and the second coat makes all the difference!

The colour is definately an aqua minty green and is slightly darker than a pastel and i havent found a colour quite like it! It has a nice glossy finish but i like to follow up with my Seche Vite top coat to make the Polish last longer and prevent chipping. I would say that it is worth the £7.99 price tag and i would love to get more Essie polishes in the furure and sometimes Boots do a 3 for 2 on Makeup so keep your eyes peeled!
